If time permits, the Commission will take a field trip starting at the conclusion of the meeting on Thursday June 8, to Trinidad and then points south to and including along the Samoa Peninsula . The field trip will start from Parking Lot G-11 at the northwest corner of the intersection of Harpst St. and Rossow St. on the Humboldt State University campus. Several stops will be made. Members of the public are invited to attend by following in their private vehicles and joining the Commission at designated stops. A detailed itinerary will be posted on the Commission’s web site. Reception
At the conclusion of the Commission field trip on Thursday, June 8, or at 6 pm., whichever is later, the Commission will attend a reception hosted by the County of Humboldt at Shamus T Bones Restaurant, at 1911 Truesdale St. in Eureka. Members of the public are welcome to join the Commission; however, because space is limited, those wishing to attend must make a reservation by contacting Kathy Hayes at the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors Office at (707) 476-2396.

The next meetings of the Coastal Commission are July 12-14, in Monterey County and August 9-11, in Los Angeles County
