Notice of the Proposed Amendments and these hearings was provided in the California Regulatory Notice Register (Register 2018, NO. 4), mailed to interested parties and posted on the Resources Agency's website on January 26, 2018. The two hearings will have identical formats and informational content but will be held in different locations.

Interested parties may present data, views, or arguments concerning the Proposed Amendments at the public hearings. Participants that wish to speak will be asked to fill out speaker cards to accurately identify the speaker. Resources Agency staff may ask clarifying questions during the oral presentations, but will not respond to the presentations at that time. Time limits may be placed on oral comments to ensure that all persons wishing to comment have an opportunity within the available time for the hearing. Written statements and supporting information submitted during the comment period will be considered with the same weight as any oral comments and supporting information presented at the public hearings. The Resources Agency requests but does not require that persons who make oral comments at the hearing also submit a written copy of their testimony at the hearing. Written comments must be received by March 15, 2018, at 5:00pm. All documents related to the Proposed Amendments are available online at http://resources.ca.gov/ceqa/.
