 The Executive Officer will report on various matters addressed since the previous Commission meeting.

5.Commission Member Reports
 An opportunity for members to disclose any meetings or conversations related to Commission business since the previous Commission meeting.

6.Public Testimony
 Although no formal Commission action will be taken, this is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Commission regarding items of interest that are within the Commission’s jurisdiction, but that do not specifically appear on the agenda.
7.Legislative Update
 Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff will provide an update on State legislation relevant to the activities of DWR and the Commission.
8.Update by DWR’s Tribal Policy Advisor on Tribal Engagement
 DWR’s Tribal Policy Advisor will update the Commission on DWR’s Tribal Engagement Program and on assistance provided to the California Water Commission’s Water Storage Investment Program.
9.Informational Briefing on DWR’s Water Loss Regulations
 DWR staff will brief the Commission on the development of its Water Loss Regulations. While this is not an action item, the Commission must approve the final regulation at a future meeting pursuant to Water Code Section 161.
10.Update on DWR’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Best Management Practices
 DWR staff will update the Commission on development of Best Management Practices pursuant to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
11.Action Item: Review and Begin Formal Public Comment Period for Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP) Draft Regulations
 The Commission will review the WSIP Draft Regulations, as needed, and consider whether to direct staff to begin a formal public comment period under the Administrative Procedure Act [Government Code section 11346.8(c)]. If the Commission directs staff to proceed, the formal public comment period would begin following publication of an official notice.
