Quarterly Report from the Delta Watermaster (Water Code §85230(d)) (Information Item) Michael Patrick George, Delta Watermaster, will present a quarterly report as required by the Delta Reform Act.
Overview of the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (Water Code §85306) (Information Item) Staff from the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and the Department of Water Resources will brief the Council about development of the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan and other key activities of the Central Valley Flood Protection Board in preparation for a joint meeting of the Council and Central Valley Flood Protection Board in August.
Discussion of Potential Prioritization of State Investments in Delta Levees as Part of the Delta Levees Investment Strategy (Water Code §85305) (Information Item) Staff will provide an update on the development of the Delta Levees Investment Strategy and will present potential prioritization options for State investments in Delta levees that have beeninformed by discussions with the Council and stakeholders. Preparation for Next Council Meeting – Discuss (a) expected agenda items; (b) new work assignments for staff; (c) requests of other agencies; (d) other requests from Council members; and (e) confirm next meeting date.
