The chief deputy executive officer requests authority to amend a contract to provide an additional $25,000 to Glosten, Inc. to 1) address peer review panel recommendations supporting efforts to eliminate ballast water introductions of invasive species; and 2) extend the contract by 6 months. The amendment would result in a total contract amount that exceeds the delegated authority granted to the executive officer. Motion and Vote

Lead Scientist Dr. John Callaway will report on recent Delta science activities.

9. Interagency Ecological Program Overview and Update (Information Item)
Interagency Ecological Program (IEP) Lead Scientist Dr. Steve Culberson will provide the Council with an overview of the IEP and review recent activities and progress.
10. 2017 Year-in-Review(Information Item)
Staff will discuss with the Council progress on Delta Plan implementation during 2017.
