Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-80002898; and (c) Takahashi v. Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-00232084. (This closed session is authorized under Government Code section 11126, subdivision (e).)

    5. Public Hearing: Delta Plan Policy G P1 (b)(2) (Government Code §11346.8) (Action Item)
The Council will consider the following:
      a. Adoption of Amendments to Delta Plan implementing regulations (23 CCR § 5002(b)(2)) to incorporate into regulation all mitigation measures adopted and incorporated into the Delta Plan; and
      b. Determination of CEQA Exemption

The Council will discuss current legislation that could affect the Council and/or implementation of the Delta Plan, and may take action to express support, opposition, or seek to amend, any of the bills listed in the monthly Legislative report
      c) Restoration Benefits in the Northeast Delta Landscape, McCormackWilliamson Tract: Monitoring and Modeling to Link Physical Processes and the Food Web Contract Amendment Approval (Action Item)
The Executive Officer requests authority to amend the current contract with the University of California, Davis to extend the contract and add additional funds of $242,286, changing the contract amount from $1,646,109 to $1,888,395.
    10. Lead Scientist Report (Information Item)
Lead Scientist Dr. John Callaway will report on recent advances in Delta research. Attachment 1: By the Numbers (to be distributed at the meeting)
    11. 2018 Accomplishments and Proposed 2019 Workplan Priorities (Information Item)
The Executive Officer and staff will discuss 2018 accomplishments and proposed 2019 workplan priorities.

    12. Watermaster Quarterly Update (Information Item)
Delta Watermaster Michael Patrick George will present a quarterly report as required by the Delta Reform Act (Water Code §85230(d)).
    13. Public Hearing Regarding Appeals of the Certification of Consistency for the Smith Canal Gate Project (Information Item)
The Council will hold a public hearing regarding appeals of the certification of consistency submitted on November 2, 2018 by the San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency for the Smith Canal Gate Project, Certification Number C20188.
