 Continued from the March 25, 2010 Board Meeting: Public Meeting to Update the Board on Assembly Bill 32 Economic Analyses

Staff, experts and stakeholders will discuss several economic analyses relating to regulations and programs designed to reduce  greenhouse gas emissions.  This agenda item will include an overview of recent economic studies of the implementation of the AB 32 Scoping Plan and allow an extended opportunity for discussion and comment.

The first part of this Board agenda item will include overviews from five panelists on their recently released analyses of implementing the AB 32 Scoping Plan, or the federal legislative proposals. Key points that speakers might include: methods used, key assumptions, and key results.

The second part of this Board Agenda item will include a panel discussion focused on review and critique of recent economic studies and implications for future analysis and action.
