b. City of Carpinteria LCP Amendment No. MAJ-1-07 (Medical Marijuana Dispensaries and Reasonable Accommodation Procedures). Public hearing and action on request by City of Carpinteria to amend its LCP to 1) include a prohibition on medical marijuana dispensaries within City boundaries and 2) to include a procedure for granting a reasonable accommodation to zoning and building laws, rules, policies, practices and/or procedures of the City in order to allow for physical building changes that are necessary to provide disabled persons equal access.
