  4. NOTICE OF IMPENDING DEVELOPMENT.
    1.  Pepperdine University Notice of Impending Development No. PEP-NOID-0005-16 (Student Housing Rehabilitation, Outer Precinct)
      Public hearing and action on Notice of Impending Development by Pepperdine University for the Outer Precinct component of the Student Housing Rehabilitation project, which will remove an existing parking lot and six existing residence halls and construct a single 116,498 sq.ft., 4-story, 48 ft. high student housing building. The project includes 8,700 cu.yds. of cut with 4,000 cu.yds. of fill and 8,000 cu.yds. of removal and re-compaction. 4,700 cu.yds. of cut will be exported to the University's debris basin and stockpile previously approved in PEP-NOID-0004-15. The University also proposes to mitigate for 0.36 acres of native plant communities impacted by the project. (WH-V)
    2.  UCSB Notice of Impending Development No. UCS-NOID-0003-16 (Main Campus Infrastructure Renewal Phase 1C Project)
      Public hearing and action on Notice of Impending Development by University of California at Santa Barbara for replacement/new construction of 3,051 linear ft. of stormwater drainage pipelines and 1,520 linear ft. of seawater pipelines; and 14,111 cu.yds. of associated grading for excavation and backfilling of pipeline trenches (7,536 cu.yds. of cut, 6,575 cu.yds. of fill) on the eastern portion of Main Campus at University of California Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County (DV-V)
