Deputy Attorney General Cunningham reported that the Commission accepted its Hearing Officer's proposed decisions on the following license and permit items from the Commission's March 4, 2004, Executive Session.

JOHN BORMAN, DENIED, MARKET SQUID VESSEL PERMIT.
JOSEPH CAMPOPIANO, APPROVED, NEARSHORE FISHERY PERMIT.
GEORGE CASTAGNOLA, APPROVED, DEEPER NEARSHORE FISHERY PERMIT.
HARVEY GONZALEZ, PERMANENTLY REVOKED, COMMERCIAL LOBSTER OPERATOR'S PERMIT.
TOM HAFER, DENIED, LOBSTER OPERATOR'S PERMIT.
JAYSON MAY, DENIED, 2003-2004 GUIDE LICENSE.
MEO VAN NGUYEN, DENIED, SOUTH CENTRAL COAST REGION NEARSHORE FISHERY PERMIT.
BEN TERRA, APPROVED, NEARSHORE FISHERY PERMIT.

DISCUSSION OF PROPOSALS FOR CHANGES IN THE 2004-2007 MAMMAL HUNTING AND TRAPPING REGULATIONS.

(NOTE: The Department of Fish and Game withdrew its proposal concerning the trapping regulations. The Department will work with constituents and will submit a new proposal to the Commission at its June 24-25, 2004 meeting.)

RECEIPT OF PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 7.50(b)(91.1), TITLE 14, CCR, RE: KLAMATH-TRINITY RIVER SALMON REGULATIONS.

RECEIPT OF PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 27.80, TITLE 14, CCR, RE: OCEAN SALMON FISHING REGULATIONS.

REQUEST OF NORTH PACIFIC, LLC, KIRKLAND, WASHINGTON, FOR RENEWAL OF EXPERIMENTAL GEAR PERMIT X-1861 TO HARVEST TANNER CRABS AND OTHER DEEP WATER CRABS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

Received request; received Department's recommendation. Commission approved the request.

CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE ADOPTION OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO SECTIONS 27.60, 27.67, 27.82, 28.28, 28.29, AND 28.55, TITLE 14, CCR, REGARDING BAG LIMITS FOR ROCKFISHES, CABEZON AND GREENLINGS, AND FISHERY CLOSURE PROCESS.
