Approve the addition of the U. S. Geological Survey to the core membership of the Delta Plan Interagency Implementation Committee.

The Lead Scientist will report on Delta Science activities

A member of the Delta Independent Science Board will report on recent Board activities

Staff will provide an overview of the draft Interim Science Action Agenda and next steps including receiving and responding to public comments, presentation of the Interim Science Action Agenda to the Delta Plan Interagency Implementation Committee, and measures of success for implementation.

 Preview of the 8th Biennial Bay-Delta Science Conference: Making Connections (Information Item)
Staff will highlight activities included in the 8th Biennial Bay-Delta Science Conference to be held October 28-30 in Sacramento, including talks presented by Delta Stewardship Council and Science Program staff, sessions of potential interest to the Council, and other activities.

 Presentation and Discussion of Levee Investment Issue Paper (Information Item)
Staff will provide an overview of the draft Delta Levee Investment Strategy Issue Paper and next steps, including receiving and responding to public comments, along with an update on this project since the August 2014 Council meeting.
