Lead Scientist’s Report (Water Code §85280) (Information Item) Dr. Cliff Dahm will report on recent Delta science activities.
Delta Challenges Report( Water Code §85280) (Information Item) Dr. Cliff Dahm will present “Challenges Facing the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: Complex, Chaotic or Simply Cantankerous?,” a recent report that summarizes Delta conflicts and challenges written by Dahm and three other former Lead Scientists at the request of the California Natural Resources Agency, U.S. Department of the Interior, and NOAA Fisheries.
Options for New and Improved Conveyance, Storage, and Operation of Both to Achieve the Coequal Goals – Council Principles (Water Code §85304) (Information Item) Staff will introduce a revised set of principles to guide the Council in promoting options for new and improved infrastructure relating to the water conveyance in the Delta, storage systems, and for the operation of both to achieve the coequal goals. These revisions reflect the comments staff received from Council members, the input staff received from other state agencies, and from the suggestions made by the panel of experts at the August Council meeting.
