2. Delta Levees Investment Strategy (DLIS) Delta Stewardship Council
In June 2014, the Council began development of the DLIS, which combines risk analysis, consideration of a wide variety of the Delta’s assets—aided by a computer-supported decision tool, and public and agency involvement to identify funding priorities and assemble a comprehensive investment strategy for Delta levees. Workshop participants will be advised of the latest developments and current status of the DLIS.

3. Central Valley Flood Protection Board Consultation Guidance Regarding the DLIS
In September 2015, the CVFPB adopted a guidance document addressing broad themes of importance to the CVFPB and to guide discussions and comments as the DLIS is developed. CVFPB staff will outline these themes and Council staff will advise how and where these themes have been incorporated into the DLIS.

 Next Steps
The CVFPB and the Council will consider establishing a working group consisting of two members of the CVFPB and two members of the Council to continue working on items of mutual interest and possibly bring future items to their respective agencies for consideration and/or future action.
