Lead Scientist Dr. John Callaway will report on recent Delta science activities.

 Delta Independent Science Board Reappointments (Action Item)
The Lead Scientist will seek Council approval to reappoint two existing Delta Independent Science Board (Delta ISB) members.

 Approach and Timeline for Delta Plan Ecosystem Amendment (Information Item)
Council staff will provide an overview of the proposed Ecosystem Amendment to the Delta Plan, discussing the need for the amendment, the process for developing the amendment, and planned public outreach throughout the process.

 Lessons on Drought: Overview of Reports Associated with the
2012 - 2016 Drought (Information Item)
Representatives from the Office of Emergency Services, U.C. Davis, and the State Water Resources Control Board will be on hand to update the Council on recent drought reports.

 2017 Water Year in Review (Information Item)
The Department of Water Resources and the Department of Fish and Wildlife will provide presentations on the lessons learned during the 2017 water year pertaining to water operations and storage, and impacts on fish and the environment.

 Preparation for Next Council Meeting – Discuss (a) expected agenda items;  (b) new work assignments for staff; (c) requests of other agencies;  (d) other requests from Council members; and (e) confirm next meeting  date.

Comments during the public comment period shall be limited to matters within the Council’s jurisdiction. Reasonable time limits may be established for public comments (Government Code Section 11125.7).
