9. Ecosystem Amendment Update (Information Item)
Council staff will discuss the development of three synthesis papers that will provide the scientific basis of an amendment to Chapter 4 of the Delta Plan (Protect, Restore, and Enhance the Delta Ecosystem).
"Coequal goals" means the two goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring,
and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural,
recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place.”
Representatives from American Rivers, Point Blue, and the Central Valley Land Trust will provide the Council with an overview of the Paradise Cut project, focusing on the issues related to converting agricultural land to floodplain and habitat.

Delta Watermaster Michael Patrick George will present a quarterly report as required by the Delta Reform Act (Water Code §85230(d)).
