The Council will discuss current legislation that could affect the Council and/or implementation of the Delta Plan, including AB 2441 (Frazier/Abandoned Vessel Cleanup), and may take action to express support or opposition, or seek to amend any of the bills listed in the monthly Legislative report.      Motion and Vote

c.  Franks Tract Feasibility Study

The Council will receive a report from Carl Wilcox, Department of Fish and Wildlife, on a Frank Tracts Feasibility Study. The study identifies restoration objectives for improving fish habitat, reducing the effects of submerged aquatic vegetation and modifying habitat for predatory fish, increasing foodweb support, and improving water quality at Franks Tract.

8. Lead Scientist's Report (Information Item)

Lead Scientist Dr. John Callaway will report on recent Delta science activities.

9.  Delta Science Governance: Data to Decision-making (Information Item)

As part two of the summer data to decision-making series, Council staff and panelists will provide an overview of the role performance measures play in informing decisions, and address how performance data links to adaptive management.

The Chief Deputy Executive Officer will provide a mid-year update on the implementation of priorities for 2018, in addition to core program functions.

No. 34-2018-80002898; (d) Central Delta Water Agency, et al. v. Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-80002900; (e) Friends of the River, et al. v. Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-80002901; and (f) California Water Impact Network v. Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-80002904.

-Members of the public shall be provided an opportunity to address the Delta Stewardship Council on any agenda item except closed session items and those items for which the public has already been afforded such an opportunity at an earlier meeting. Comments during the public comment period shall be limited to matters within the Council's jurisdiction.

Reasonable time limits may be established for public comments (Government Code Section 11125.7).
