Public Comment: The public will be invited to provide comments on developing a preferred MPA proposal for the MLPA South Coast Study Region during Agenda Item R on Wednesday, October 21, 2009; it is expected that public comment on this agenda item will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. and conclude by 4:30 p.m. In addition, general public comment will be taken on any subject related to the work of the MLPA Blue Ribbon Task Force (BRTF) at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 and will end no later than 10:00 p.m.

Speaker cards are requested and may be found at the entrance to the room. Time allotted for public comment is determined by the number of requests; submitting written comments that can be easily summarized is encouraged. Note that the public comment period is for comments specific to the BRTF. For additional details about providing public comment at this meeting, please refer to the MLPA Guidelines for Public Comment.
