Purpose:

Present the Panel’s preliminary recommendations on the Decommissioning Processes, Decommissioning Funding, Future Use of Lands and Facility Repurposing. The Panel will also discuss the report preparation schedule and the opportunity for public comment on their recommendations. Additionally, the Panel will present and discuss their proposed 2019 meeting and topic schedule and will receive public comment and provide direct input to PG&E on behalf of the local community.

Desired Outcomes:

By the end of today’s meeting, the panel will:

  • Review Preliminary Recommendations on the Decommissioning Process, Decommissioning Funding, Future Use of Lands and Facility Repurposing;
  • Review the Panel’s report preparation schedule and opportunities for public input;
  • Review the 2019 Panel meeting schedule and associated decommissioning topics;
  • Review public outreach metrics;
  • Receive and discuss public comment;
  • Prepare for spend fuel storage topic at next Panel meeting and;
  • Record actions and evaluate the meeting.
