Purpose: Understand current storage methods and path forward for future storage methods for nuclear materials at DCPP
Desired Outcomes: By the end of the meeting, the panel will:
  • Understand the current strategy for storage of SNF at the DCPP ISFSI
  • Understand the cask storage technologies currently available to DCPP
  • Understand the requirements for storage of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) after decommissioning
  • Solicit the public’s input regarding the storage of SNF at the DCPP ISFSI
  • Make PG&E aware of the Panel and public’s input
