Delta Stewardship Council,Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-80002898; and (c) Takahashi v. Delta Stewardship Council, Sacramento County Superior Ct. No. 34-2018-00232084.

Dr. John Callaway will report on recent advances in Delta science and research.
 9.  Delta Independent Science Board Chair Update (Information Item)
The Council will receive an update on the activities of the Delta Independent Science Board from its Chair, Dr. Elizabeth Canuel, and past Chair, Dr. Stephen Brandt. 
 10.  Draft Delta Plan Five-Year Review Report (Information Item)
The Council will discuss and provide feedback to staff on the draft of the Delta Plan Five-Year Review Report.
 11.  Public Hearing on Proposed Rulemaking for Section 5001 (Definitions)and Section 5012 (Delta Levees Investment Strategy) (Delta Plan RR P1) of Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations (Government Code§11346.8) (Action Item)
This item will start at 1:00 p.m.

The Council will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to Section 5012 to implement the Delta Levees Investment Strategy (DLIS) and proposed amendments to Section 5001 for related definitions, consider public comments received on the proposed rulemaking, and provide direction to staff regarding next steps for the proposed rulemaking.
