General Waste Discharge Requirements for Discharges to Surface Waters Resulting from De Minimis Discharges, Groundwater Dewatering Operations and/or Groundwater Cleanup/Remediation Operations at Sites Within the Newport Bay Watershed NPDES Number CAG918002 - Issuance of updated general waste discharge requirements (WDRs) for discharges to surface waters in the Newport Bay Watershed from (1) discharges that pose an insignificant (de minimis) threat to water quality, and (2) groundwater dewatering and/or groundwater cleanup operations. This Order incorporates selenium effluent limits based on selenium TMDLs adopted by the Santa Ana Water Board and approved by U.S. EPA on June 20, 2019 and replaces Order R8-2007-0041 (as amended) and Order R8-2005-0079.
