To allow for a more orderly process of identifying speakers in advance, the Santa Ana Water Board will use virtual speaker cards. The virtual speaker card will allow the Board Clerk to identify commenters interested in this item, locate them within the Zoom meeting waiting list, and unmute them so they can address the Board at the appropriate time. | |||

Waste Discharge Requirements for Cal Mat Company, dba Vulcan Materials, West Division, Corona Quarry Expansion Project, City of Corona, Riverside County Authorizing discharges of 0.09 acre of fill to waters of the State and 0.17 acre of fill to waters of the United States. All waters are unnamed ephemeral tributaries of Temescal Creek, Reach 2. The discharge of fill is associated with the expansion of an existing aggregate mine. Amendment of Site-Specific Waste Discharge Requirements Order Number R8-2016-0061 for In Situ Remediation of Groundwater at Former Raytheon Facility in Newport Beach Order R8-2020-0015 proposes to amend Order R8-2016-0061, to authorize additional in-situ injections of chemical amendments such as food grade soy bean oil, sodium lactate, food grade additives, emulsifiers, preservative and KB-1Plus® bioaugmentation agent, to remediate chlorinated solvent and petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater stemming from historical site operations conducted at the facility. The amendment authorizes the Executive Officer to approve future injections of chemical amendments into the groundwater at the Raytheon site, that are necessary to remediate the VOC-affected groundwater and are proposed in an addendum to the Remedial Action Plan, subject to approval by the Executive Officer.
