Any member of the public may address the Council for a period not to exceed three minutes total on any item of interest within the jurisdiction of this Council. The Council will listen to all communications; however, in compliance with the Brown Act, the Council cannot act on items not on the agenda.

Members of the audience may speak on any item(s) listed on the Consent Agenda. Treasurer’s Report for the Period August 30, 2017 through September 6, 2017. (Recommended Action: Approve the Treasurer’s Report as submitted.)

Treasurer’s Report for the 2016 Streets Bond Account - $8,000,000 (Measure K-14: Grover Beach Street Rehabilitation; Safety Improvement Bond Measure) for the Period August 30, 2017 through September 6.  (Recommended Action: Approve the Treasurer’s Report as submitted.) VOICE VOTE
6.
 Contract Amendment – Engineering Project Management (CIP 2295 and CIP 2283) – Public Works Director/City Engineer Ray. The City Council will consider amending the contract  for  consulting  project management  services related  to  Measure  K-14  bond-funded street rehabilitation and repair projects.
(Recommended Action: Adopt  the  Resolution  amending  the  Contract for  Engineering Project  Management  Services  related  to  CIP  2295:  Street  Rehabilitation  and  Repair Program  and  CIP  2283:  Major  Street Maintenance  Program,  and  authorize  the  City Manager to execute the contract amendment on behalf of the City.)

 Grover Beach Declaration of Human Rights – City Manager Bronson. The City Council will consider adopting a Declaration of  Human Rights to affirm  faith in fundamental human rights as a community. 
(Recommended Action:  Adopt  a  Resolution  to  establish  a  “Grover  Beach  Declaration of Human Rights.)

 Council Compensation Review and Direction –  City  Manager  Bronson.  The City Council will receive further  information regarding cost estimates to  provide  insurance benefits and technology needs for elected officials.
(Recommended Action: Receive report on amending Council compensation and provide direction to staff regarding medical insurance and technology devices for Council Members.
