5. Amending the City of Grover Beach Investment Policy - Administrative Services 
Director Chapman. The City Council will consider the City’s written policy regarding the deposit and investment practices of public funds. 
(Recommended Action: Adopt the Resolution amending the City of Grover Beach Investment Policy.)

6. Acceptance of the outh 4th Street Pavement Repair Project (CIP 2283) - Public 
Works  Director/City  Engineer  Ray.  The  City  Council  will  consider  pavement repairs completed on South 4th Street.  
(Recommended Action: Adopt the Resolution accepting the improvements constructed by Souza Construction, Inc. and authorize staff to send the Notice of Completion to Souza Construction, Inc., for the South 4th Street Pavement Repair Project (CIP 2283).

7.South 16th Street and Farroll Road Re-Striping - Public Works Director/City Engineer Ray. The  City Council will consider recommendations from  Omni-Means,  a  traffic engineering  consultant, regarding sight  distance near the intersection  of  South  16th Street and Farroll Road. 
(Recommended Action: Receive  information  on  re-striping  near  the  intersection of South 16th Street and Farroll Road and approve the design to shift the centerline to the south and relocate on-street parking from the south side to the north side of Farroll Road in order to achieve adequate corner sight distance.)

 13  State  Community  Development  Block  Grant  Report - the  Community Development Director Buckingham and Planner II Reese. The City Council will review the  accomplishments  under  State  CDBG  Agreement  13-CDBG-8961  and will solicit citizen input regarding expenditures and accomplishments of the funding received under the contract.  

Recommended Action: Receive a report summarizing the accomplishments performed under State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreement 13-CDBG-8961 and provide input regarding expenditures and accomplishments of the funding received under the contract.

 Introduction and First Reading of an Ordinance Amending Council Compensation - City Manager Bronson. The City Council will consider amending the Grover Beach Municipal Code regarding stipends for members of the City Council. 

Recommended Action:
 Consider public testimony, introduce and conduct first reading of an Ordinance amending Council compensation, and schedule second reading and adoption at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

 2017-18 First Quarter Financial Report and Major City Goals Report  City Manager Bronson. The City Council will receive a report on the City’s financial position after the close of the first quarter of the fiscal year, and a report on  the status of implementing the City Council’s adopted Major City Goals for 2017-18. 

Recommended Action:
 Receive  first  quarter  financial  report  and  Major  City  Goals implementation report and provide input to staff.
11.
 
 Water  Fund  Capital  Needs  and  Funding  Options - Public  Works  Director/City 
Engineer  Ray  and  Administrative  Services  Director  Chapman.  The City  Council  will receive further information on the  operating budget for the Water Funds and capital projects planned for infrastructure improvements this fiscal year.  

Recommended Actions: Receive a report on current and emerging capital needs in the Water  Fund  and  potential  funding  options  for  addressing  these  needs  and provide direction to staff.
