NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that staff of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Santa Ana Region (Santa Ana Water Board) have prepared a staff working proposal for a Regional Phase I MS4 Permit (Staff Working Proposal), which would regulate discharges of pollutants in urban runoff from MS4s in Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties on a regionwide basis. The Santa Ana Water Board intends to hold a staff-level public workshop on the Staff Working Proposal. |

PUBLIC WORKSHOP The Santa Ana Water Board will hold a staff-level public workshop to discuss and solicit feedback on the Staff Working Proposal. An overview of the Region’s stormwater program and key provisions of the Staff Working Proposal will be provided, with opportunity for questions and comments from permittees and other stakeholders. A quorum of Santa Ana Water Board members may be present at the workshop; however, no Board action or voting will be taken. The workshop will be held at the following date, time, and location: |

Remote attendees will be able to submit comments through Zoom via chat input and/or audio. The Staff Working Proposal does not constitute a “draft permit” as defined in 40 Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR) section 122.2. The Santa Ana Water Board will not formally respond to oral or written feedback on the Staff Working Proposal. When a “draft permit” is released pursuant to 40 CFR section 124.6, permittees and other interested persons will be provided an opportunity to submit written comments pursuant to 40 CFR section 124.10. |
