6. Yucca Valley Septic Tank Prohibition Amendment Workshop [Maria Davydova-Flores, ES]

The workshop will discuss and solicit input on the draft Amendment of the Water Quality Control Plan for the Colorado River Basin Region (Basin Plan), Resolution R7-2021-0028. The Amendment will revise the septic tank discharge prohibition for the Town of Yucca Valley to combine Phases 2 and 3 into a single Phase 2, extend the overall deadlines for the Prohibition, identify additional deferred parcels, and make other changes needed for consistency, clarity, and accuracy. Staff will provide an overview of the draft Amendment, and there will be an opportunity for comment from stakeholders and members of the public.
