Given public health conditions and consistent with Assembly Bill No. 361, which allows for a deviation of teleconference rules required by the Ralph M. Brown Act, City Council meetings will be held by teleconference only until further notice.

Meetings can be viewed on Channel 20 and are live streamed on the City’s website and on www.slospan.orgMembers of the public may provide public comment during the meeting by calling (805) 321- 6639 to provide public comment via phone (the phone line will open just prior to the start of the meeting at 6:00 PM) or written public comments can be submitted via email to [email protected] prior to the Council meeting. If submitting written comments in advance of the meeting, please note the agenda item. 6.Adoption of Findings Related to AB 361 Allowing Continued Teleconferencing Meetings – City Attorney Hale
(Recommended Action: Adopt required findings with respect to the City of Grover Beach’s continued utilization of teleconferencing meetings in conformation with AB 361 (Government Code Section 54953).

(Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager or their designee to execute Agreements for Consultant Services with on-call design firms for up to $300,000 for design services on Capital Improvement Projects.)

8.Award of Construction Contract for the City Hall Portable Generator Connection Project – Public Works Director/City Engineer Ray and Senior Engineer Munoz-Morris
(Recommended Action: – Award the construction contract for the City Hall Portable Generator Connection Project to Santa Maria Electric, Inc., in the amount of $76,680 for the Base Bid; authorize the City Manager to sign and affirm construction change orders up to an aggregate of $7,670; authorize an encumbrance of $70,900 from the General Fund; and authorize the Mayor to execute the contracts on behalf of the City.)

10.First Reading and Introduction of an Ordinance Adding Chapter 4.1 of Article V, Mandatory Organic Waste Disposal Reduction, to the City of Grover Beach Municipal Code to Comply with the Requirements of SB 1383 – Public Works Director/City Engineer Ray and City Attorney Hale.
(Recommended Action: 1. Conduct first reading, by title only, and introduce an Ordinance adding Chapter 4.1 of Article V, Mandatory Organic Waste Disposal Reduction, to the Grover Beach Municipal Code in order to comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383). 2. Schedule second reading and adoption of the Ordinance at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting.)
